First filter
This guide follows the next natural step after osc -> out: add flt.
Step 1: Start from the first patch
Section titled “Step 1: Start from the first patch”Build osc -> out first.
Step 2: Insert filter
Section titled “Step 2: Insert filter”Add flt and reconnect the graph:
osc -> flt -> out
Step 3: Change cutoff
Section titled “Step 3: Change cutoff”Move frequency on flt.
You are not changing the note itself now. You are changing how bright or dark the tone feels.
Step 4: Try filter types
Section titled “Step 4: Try filter types”Switch type between lowpass, highpass, and bandpass.
Each one removes or emphasizes a different part of the spectrum.
